The Shadow in the North ist ,wie der 1. Teil der Serie, ein sehr tolles Buch. Es sind manchmal allerdings ein paar brutale Szenen drin, die ich nicht so gerne gelesen hätte.
Excellent again, this 2nd Sally Lockhart. She's a real person, involved in dark and mysterious events making you shiver and bite your nails. Very credible. Read also the 1st and 3rd Sally Lockhart books (but not the 4th, is my advice).
This book is the best! I apsalutly love Phillip Pullman. If you havent read Ruby in the Smock you should read it. This book is about what happens to Sally after the ruby. When I was reading this book no one could plie it out of my hands I read it every were including the bathroom, the poll, and the dinner table. My two sisters got so sick of me talking about or reading this book. Anyone who likes mystry and adventur (evean if you dont) READ THIS BOOK! I can gerintee that this book will make you laugh, cry, cheer, worry, and smile. I'm going to go start the third book right now but befor I do I want to remined you again toREAD THIS BOOK!
This is by far the most imaginative author of this age! All Phillip Pullman's books are of an excellent high standard to which no other author compares. The best of the Sally Lockhart Trilogy, this book delves into, love, loss, deception and lies. The mind of Sally Lockhart is explored in detail and is written in a most creative style lacked by the writers of today. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone of all ages. If you have not read Pullman, you have not lived!
